All 3 of Forgan’s Tour Team are participating in the Handa Seniors Masters, the new event on this year’s European Senior Tour, played over 3 rounds at Stapleford Park in Melton Mowbray, United Kingdom from the 12th to 14th May, 2010.

Former Masters Champion and World number 1, Ian Woosnam, Tour veteran David J Russell and Matt Briggs are pegging it up in the inaugural event in a classy looking field that includes from Scotland the defending order of merit winner, Sam Torrance, Italy’s Constantino Rocca, England’s Carl Mason and the Irishman Des Smyth.

Woosnam and Russell are both on their first tour outing with their new prototype forged irons set from Forgan, having had them custom built fitted using Forgan’s innovative custom fitting system. Both players are reporting very positive feedback about the clubs which are being launched in July to commemorate the company’s 150th anniversary.  Only 150 sets will be made and all sets will be numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity signed by Ian Woosnam.

The benefits of custom fitting are highlighted by Woosnam and Russell. Woosie standing at just 5ft 4” and the towering DJ at 6ft 1” need very contrasting make up of their sets. The final fitting was as follows:
